Celebrating 70 Years of Excellence in Healthcare

The Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH) is located in Kumasi, the capital of the Ashanti Region with a total population of 5,432,485 (National Population Census,2021).

The geographical location of the 1,200-bed hospital, the road network of the country and the unique commercial setting of Kumasi makes the hospital accessible to all remaining fifteen (15) regions of the country, especially those that shares boundaries with the Ashanti region.

    Begin by heading to the records department to verify or update your personal and medical information.

  • Payment at the Bank

    Proceed to the bank or billing area to complete your payment for the consultation or any applicable fees.

  • Check Vitals

    Next, visit the nursing station to have your vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, etc.) checked.

  • Consult the Doctor

    After your vitals are recorded, you’ll be directed to meet with your doctor for a full consultation and assessment.

  • Pharmacy or Lab (If Necessary)

    Depending on your consultation, you may need to visit the pharmacy for prescriptions or go to the lab for diagnostic tests.
