KATH Receives Hisense Color Doppler Ultrasound Machine from Sun Electronics (Hisense Ghana)
The Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH) has received a significant boost to its diagnostic capacity following the donation of a brand-new Hisense Colour Doppler Ultrasound Diagnostic equipment, valued at $55,000, from Sun Electronics Limited (Hisense Ghana).
In a brief but heartwarming ceremony held at the forecourt of the Accident and Emergency Center of the hospital, Nana Ama Mcbrown, lead Brand Ambassador noted that “Hisense Ghana, strongly believed in using its resources to make real differences, in the lives of people and today’s donation of the Color Doppler Ultrasound to KATH is a perfect example”. The equipment she noted would help doctors provide faster, more accurate diagnoses and ultimately save lives.
Nana Ama McBrown handed over the state-of-the-art equipment to Management to support quality specialized healthcare delivery at Radiology Directorate of the hospital.
The Chief Executive Officer of KATH, Dr. (Med). Paa Kwesi Baidoo received the donation and expressed appreciation to Hisense Ghana for their kind gesture.
“On behalf of the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital, I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to Hisense Ghana for this generous donation.
This advanced Colour Doppler Ultrasound will greatly enhance our diagnostic services and improve patient care and we look forward to continued collaboration in advancing healthcare in Ghana,” he stated.
Dr. (Med) Baidoo further appealed for support from other corporate institutions like Hisense Ghana to facilite delivering of world-class healthcare.
