The General Overseer of the Power Chapel Worldwide, Prophet Victor Kusi Boateng, Has Donated 2,000 Bedsheets

The General Overseer of the Power Chapel Worldwide, Prophet Victor Kusi Boateng, has donated 2,000 bedsheets, 4,000 pillow cases, 15 baby digital weighing scales, four patient monitors and a cash amount for the payment of bills of poor patients who were unable to settle their hospital bills.

Mrs. Anita Kusi Boateng, wife of the Prophet who presented the items on behalf of her husband stated that it was to mark the celebration of the birthday of the Prophet and also to honour and support his “spiritual” son, Prof. Otchere Addai-Mensah, CEO of KATH. The donation is estimated at Five Hundred Thousand Ghana Cedis (₵500,000.00).

“My husband, Prophet Kusi Boateng does these donations to orphanages and deprived communities anytime he is celebrating his birthday and was hopeful that the donation will help lessen the burden on the shoulders of the health facility and also cater for the bills of persons who do not have money to pay their bills”, Mrs Kusi Boateng stated.

Receiving the items, Prof. Otchere Addai-Mensah thanked Prophet Kusi Boateng for the gesture.

He noted that KATH was largely reliant on Internally Generated Funds (IGF) for its operations and donations like what Prophet Kusi Boateng had done serves as a relief to the hospital.

After the presentation of the donation, Mrs. Boateng and her team toured some units and wards of the hospital to help settle the medical bills of needy patients.

She and her team later prayed for the management of the hospital and asked for God’s grace and wisdom to enable the management and board to surmount all challenges facing KATH and make it the most customer friendly facility in the country as envisioned by the CEO.
