Celebrates Outstanding Research and Collaborative Spirit at Research Dissemination Day

To foster a culture of evidence-based practice and celebrate groundbreaking research, the Research and Development Unit of the Hospital successfully organized a Research Dissemination Day on the 19th of July 2023. The event was held under the theme ‘Translating Research into Evidence-Based Practice at KATH’.

The event commenced with opening remarks from the esteemed CEO, Prof Otchere Addai-Mensah, and the Medical Director, Dr Kwadwo Sarbeng. The occasion was attended by participants from various clinical and non-clinical Directorates and Units across the hospital, both physically and virtually.

The day was marked by an impressive array of research presentations and poster displays, showcasing the diverse and impactful research conducted within the hospital. The enthusiastic audience engaged in vibrant discussions, fostering an environment of knowledge-sharing and collaboration.

The Deputy Medical Director, Dr Yaw Opare Larbi, was joined by Dr. Evans Ansu-Yeboah, the Head of the Research and Development Unit, in presenting awards to deserving presenters. The awardees were:
