KATH Organizes Management Training for Top and Middle Level Managers
The Training and Development Section of the Human Resource Unit of the hospital organized a 2-day management training programme for top and middle level managers of the Directorate/Unit Management Team members in the hospital on 26th-27th April, 2022 at the Longford Event Centre in Kumasi.
The objective of the programme was to equip Managers with the needed job skills and knowledge in the execution of their task.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, the Chief Executive Dr. Oheneba Owusu-Danso disclosed that the topics were carefully selected to help participants in their job schedule.
Among the resource persons invited for the event were accomplished personalities from the private sector and in-house Directors of Administration and Human Resource of the hospital. Some of the topics treated at the workshop were administrative procedures, excellent customer care, workman compensation, interviewing skills, overview of KATH policies, and disciplinary code among others.
The general feedback from participants at the end of the two-day workshop suggested that programmes of this magnitude should be organized frequently to help staff provide quality leadership at their respective Directorates/Units.
